Do Birkenstocks run big?

Birkenstock’s slippers and sandals run true to size to a size up. Birkenstock doesn’t use half-sizes which makes estimating what size is best to order pretty challenging. Are you in between sizes? Then it is best to opt for a size smaller than a size bigger. Do you usually wear size 5,5? Then we advise you to order your Birkenstocks in a size 5.

Birkenstock Madrid’s single strap may give you the feeling the shoe sits too loose on your feet. Compared to Birkenstock Florida that has three straps, a single strap has less grip. Both Birkenstock Madrid and Birkenstock Yara will ask your leg muscles to work. Just make sure you don’t buy the Birkenstock Madrid and the Yara too big and too wide.

Birkenstock Arizona

Birkenstock Arizona is a slipper with two straps on the front foot. The slip-on has a fairly wide fit, and we recommend you order the narrow fit for your normal feet. But what if you have wide feet and high insteps? If this is the case, just opt for the regular fit.

Birkenstock Florida is a slipper with three straps on the front foot. The slip-on itself has a wide fit. Do you have normal feet and do you want to buy the Birkenstock Arizona? Then go for the narrow fit. The regular fit is suitable for people with wide feet and high insteps.
